A husband, a father, a gamer, a swordsman, a woodworker, an archer, a reader, a philosopher, a citizen, and a patriot.
A lifelong resident of Washington state, Justin Greywolf was born in Wenatchee, and grew up in Seattle, returning to Wenatchee 4 months out of each year to spend with his grandparents’ on their orchard.
This has given him a unique perspective on life in two different worlds, with different needs and expectations.
I have experienced both hardship and plenty at many levels and ultimately excelled in a highly technical industry on my own merits. I know what it is like to strike out on my own and to have no permanent home, relying on the kindness of friends (couch surfing) or spending a night outside. I know what it is like to rely on welfare to put food on the table, the worry around how to pay for next month's rent, the embarrassment that comes from selling off prized possessions, and the despair of falling further and further into debt.
Today I live on the ancestral lands of the Duwamish (Renton) with my amazing wife, a couple of children, an enthusiastic German Shepherd, and an orange tabby that allows us to occupy his space. Amongst the competing demands in life, I try to find a balance between time with family and various hobbies. I enjoy playing video games with my sons, watching movies, listening to books, challenging my wife to board games, candlelight dinners, long walks on the beach... and hanging out with friends, listening to their stories, and learning more about the world around me.
